Is Dorit Kemsley Leaving RHOBH? She Finally Speaks Out

Let's be honest — after the chaos of Season 15, nobody would have blamed Dorit Kemsley if she quietly handed back her diamond and never looked back. Divorce drama, messy costar fallouts, and enough personal turbulence to fill an entire season on its own. But guess what? Dorit is not going anywhere. At least not yet.

The 49-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star sat down with E! News for an exclusive interview, and she had plenty to say about her future on the Bravo series — and her future in general.

"I'm Very Open Right Now"

When asked point-blank about returning to RHOBH, Dorit did not give a flat yes or no. Instead, she said something that honestly makes a lot of sense given everything she has been through.

"As I've learned a very harsh lesson in these last two years, anything can change from week to week, month to month," she told E! News. "I'm very open right now. I'm having some really wonderful conversations, I feel like I'm in a creative space."

That is Dorit-speak for: the conversations are happening, the door is open, but she is not signing on the dotted line just yet. After filing for divorce from estranged husband Paul "PK" Kemsley in April 2025 and surviving one of the most turbulent seasons in recent RHOBH memory, she clearly wants to make sure the next chapter is the right one.

She has been a main cast member since joining in Season 7 back in 2016, so this is not someone who is unfamiliar with the highs and lows of life on camera. But she was also clear that one day, she will walk away.

"I feel like I am entering a new chapter of peace, acceptance, happiness, adventure," Dorit said, "and I think with that I'll know whether it's the right thing to do, move forward and continue, or step back."

The Book, The Tour, and the New Beginning

Before Bravo even gets back on her radar, Dorit has something bigger demanding her attention. Her very first memoir, "Unburdened," drops nationwide on June 2, and she is beyond excited about it.

"I'm very excited about the book coming out June 2," she shared. "I'm very excited about book signings and the book tour and meeting the fans. I'm really enjoying this moment so much that it's where my focus is."

And if you are wondering whether she goes there in the book — she does. From growing up in Connecticut to navigating the world of Housewives drama to the bitter end of her ten-year marriage to PK, Dorit reportedly holds nothing back. The title alone, "Unburdened," tells you everything about where her head is at right now.

Co-Parenting With PK Is Still a Work in Progress

Dorit shares two kids with PK — son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10 — and co-parenting has not exactly been smooth sailing.

"Things are definitely ever evolving," she admitted. "Unfortunately, we've had a theme of going forward one step and back nine, and I'm really hoping that, moving forward, we can get into a nice rhythm where we can remember what's important."

Anyone who has been through a divorce with kids involved knows exactly what that kind of exhaustion sounds like. She is not sugarcoating it, and honestly, that is refreshing.

She Is Finally Ready to Date Again

Here is the part fans have been waiting to hear. After two years of focusing almost entirely on her kids and getting through one of the hardest periods of her life, Dorit Kemsley is ready to get back out there.

"I have reached a place where I am looking forward to it," she confessed. "It's imminent."

She was quick to clarify that her hesitation had nothing to do with unresolved feelings for PK. "I didn't feel ready, not because I wasn't over PK," she explained. "My focus was where it needed to be."

But now? The focus is shifting. She described dating as "a very important part of this journey" and said she feels it is "in the near future."

Dorit Kemsley, freshly unburdened, newly open to love, and still very much holding onto her RHOBH diamond for now. Season 16 just got a whole lot more interesting.
